Our Story

Three generations. One mission.

Over 50 years of fixing what's broken, doing it right, and treating every customer like a neighbor.

Father and son working together at Clark's Lawn & Garden Equipment
1976

It started with frustration.

Dwaine Clark worked at other small engine dealers and got tired of watching customers get poor service. So he opened his own shop in Oregon City. The promise was simple: fix what's broken, do it right, charge a fair price.

1999

Rob takes over.

Rob grew up in the shop, left for the Marines, worked at another dealer, then came back. When Dwaine retired, Rob took over and earned every certification the industry offers: Honda Master, Briggs & Stratton Master, Kohler Master, Stihl Gold Dealer.

2007

Generators enter the picture.

Rob saw a gap. Electricians and HVAC dealers were happy to sell and install generators, but nobody wanted to handle the ongoing service. The engine, the controls, the fuel system — that's where things get technical. And that's exactly where our expertise lives.

Today

Three generations strong.

Brian — Rob's son — grew up in the shop too. Left to fight wildfires, then came back. Now he works alongside Rob every day. Three generations of Clarks, all with the same stubborn commitment to doing it right. Over 50 years and counting.
